The Fiddle-Leaf Fig and the Monstera were undeniably some of the most popular indoor plants of 2017. Some might say those plants were the initial spark that launched the indoor plant revolution that dominated Instagram over the past year.

But like all things steeped in trends and popularity, what goes up must come down — and though indoor plants aren’t going anywhere , a new crop of leafy greens are starting to catch our eye. Although the standard green indoor plants will remain classics, colorful indoor plants are this year’s biggest indoor plant trend.

With the Instagram account @plantsonpink accumulating more than 100,000 followers, it’s no surprise we’re suddenly being drawn to indoor plants that feature the best of both worlds.
